It is oriented for Audio Books in mp3 format collections. Use PHP, Java & database MySQL or Oracle.

Audio Books Catalog have three parts:

• ftp scanner is a java program that garthers file names from ftp servers and stores them in database.
• Collection engine is a java program that load different collections to database.
• Web interface is PHP program to search and browse database.

ftp scanner features:

• FTP proxy support.
• Active or passive connection mode per server.
• Follow links in directory structure.
• Handle correctly Windows based sarvers with dirve leter as part of URL (Serv-U).
• Do not read the same directories on FTP server for configurable scan time to improve performance.
• Gratefully reconnect on timeout and continue scanning from the same directory.
• Execution time limit useful for cron jobs.
